The BIG LTA abolition question - what needs done by April?
About the Event
Lots of time, effort and energy had been expended getting collective heads around the new, but still potentially changing, LTA rules.
But with the abolition date hurtling towards us at great speed questions have turned from "how do the new rules work?" to "who might be impacted and what might we need to do" ?
Les Cameron, Head of Technical and Mark Devlin, Senior Technical Manager at M&G Wealth will share what they think on the "who" and the "what".
The nature of this session means the new rules will be referenced but not explained in great detail. To get the most from the session it would be best to have a general familiarity with what the new rules are. If you're not up to speed on the new rules we'd suggest having a read of our updated Lifetime Allowance analysis and / or reviewing our December event - Lifetime Allowance - the Final Chapter?
As usual there will be plenty time for questions at the end.
CPD
The sessions will qualify for up to 90 minutes Structured CPD accredited by CII.
By the end of the session, you will be able to:
*Identify those clients who are impacted by the abolition of the Lifetime Allowance
*Describe the actions that may need to be taken to improve the outcomes for some customers
