Lifetime Allowance - The Final Chapter?
About the Event
The Chancellor announced the abolition of the Lifetime Allowance in the Spring budget. Up until the Autumn Statement we'd had policy papers, a Finance Act, some newsletters, draft legislation and several industry meetings – but with many pieces of the overall planning jigsaw still missing. With the publication of the Autumn Finance Bill, we’re now in a place to fill in those missing pieces of the jigsaw. The M&G Wealth Technical team has been poring over the detail of the Bill to see if we can now close the book on the abolition of the Lifetime Allowance. And more importantly, get on with the first chapter under the new rules. Join us for a special "Techy Thursday" online event where Les Cameron, Head of Technical and Mark Devlin, Senior Technical Manager at M&G Wealth, will bring you right up to speed with where we are. They’ll deliver a presentation for around 60 minutes, followed by around 30 minutes dedicated to a Q&A.
